A Mauro Qashére timepiece is built to be worn daily. A few small habits will keep it looking the way it did the day the box opened.
Water
Every MQ watch is water resistant to 5 ATM. That comfortably covers rain, hand-washing and splashes. We recommend taking it off for swimming, showering and saunas — heat and sustained pressure age the seals of any watch at this rating.
Cleaning
Once a month, wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then dry it. For the crystal, a microfibre cloth removes fingerprints without micro-scratches. Avoid household chemicals and perfumes — spray your wrist before the watch goes on, not after.
The battery
The quartz movement runs three to five years on a battery. When the second hand starts jumping in multi-second steps, it is asking for a replacement — any local watchmaker can fit one in minutes.
